It seems disappointment is really to the people who were superhyped about it?

the "meh..." people stay that way.

Please Read posts don't skim them and make a Gaile Quote because people will get confused.

Would the Real Gaile please stand up, and bless this thread with her smile. (Just some info would be nice too )

Yeah on my original post, i said in the last paragraph, that Gaile did actually say in her Gaile Gray Talk Forum that the reskins fit in with the lore of the land. Actual saying from Gaile Gray. The forum page got so much negative feedback that she tried closing it.

Wow well no wonder she's not posting here . Those anwsers are how do I put it correctly? I'll refrain from saying anything, but you get my drift . Is it me, or are Gaile and Andrew Patrick less active on the forums?

you are not just wrong but provably wrong.

what they stated was GWEN is a level 20 content expansion with no beginners level up area

to you level 20 content can only be DOA/HARD MODE/ELITE and you were bitterly disappointed that level 20 content was only level 20 content.

NO WHERE DID THEY STATE GWEN WAS GOING TO BE AN ELITE GIANT HARD ZONE BEST PLAYERS ONLY EXPANSION AS THAT WOULD CUT SALES TO ZILCH WOULDNT IT.

they did not lie.

you saying they lied is the lie
I normally agree with you in this forum....

The only problem is that they stated it would be a lvl 20 content area, with 40 new armors and all that other stuff.

When I hear lvl 20...I don't think of those lvl 18 mesmers in the Asuran areas, I was thinking of legit challenging lvl 28 charr with dual professions. (They got half of that right, thank goodness)

The problem is that the content really isn't THAT new.

Only thing I really like are the chaos gauntlets and the destroyer weapons.

The green endgames are such pieces of shit though....omfg.

all the more reason to preserve the reskin quote for enternity. Spinning laziness as preserving cannon is priceless. I say more Gaile quotes like this. It makes it the disconnect between community and devs yet more obvious.

i just took a fast look in that area and that is completely in line with normal mode content

even sanctum cay was about that hard and that is further along.

normal mode normal people normal difficulity

i am having fun and have not bothered to look at the armor yet

So I didn't have to delete my post, doh.

But I still can't believe she said that...

Excellent post, the OP summed up my thoughts. Given the last Jeff Strain's message/interview, I don't think Anet care so much about how we feel as a community. As long as the cash comes in....

But at any rate, I suggest everyone try not to bash some other games and stay focus on GW. Trust me, it's doesn't make your beloved GW look any better; it's pathetic.
Don't think you quite understand the amount of farmers and the amount of people that are also fed up with the game. What are they waiting on? Warhammer, and I know that for a fact.

Arguably, it's the best pay to play game out there. Arguably, it has the worst customer service, and doesn't listen to its customer base...

Though, with many of those people having made Warlocks, Paladins and the other overdone, overbalanced classes, I suppose it doesn't matter anymore.

WoW'll crash for if anything a little while. Keep watchin' and seein'.

If it were shutdown, I'd know, being that I work in the industry... horse cocky...

and yeah, I read the general forum a touch too much in between my bored-ness with the pathetic repition that WoW offered. Could've just been my server, for all I know, but I know everyone I've played with is waiting on WHO and very little are staying with WoW. Will it die? No, there's always going to be Blizzard fans out there.

Are you seriously implying that WoW is DYING?!

Yes, because the official forums contain all 9 million players. Just as Guild Wars Guru carries 4 million accounts for all the copies held.

Wait a second...

The only people I've heard of actually "Waiting On Warhammer" are those that troll- um, visit the forums. I haven't heard of anyone in eiither of my guilds saying "lol Waiting On Warhammer LOL!"

Also, a lot of people I know aren't even going to bother with WAR because of EA.

I think less than 1% of the WoW playerbase visits the forums. Somewhere around that number.
